Built a web app, AiMySyllabi.com, to support college students with executive functioning challenges.
Challenge: Syllabi are hard to follow and time-consuming to track.
Solution: AI tool that extracts assignments, tests, and deadlines from syllabi into downloadable calendar files.
Outcome: Loved by EF coaches, neurodivergent students, and parents. Currently refining beta version.
Long-Range Planning
Guided a large state trade association through a comprehensive strategic plan, including surveys and focus groups.
Challenge: The group completed its last plan early. With thousands of members and shifting industry dynamics, leadership was eager for a fresh roadmap.
Solution: We started with a comprehensive member survey to surface top concerns, priorities, and ideas. We then facilitated targeted focus groups with diverse stakeholder segments to add depth and context to the data. We synthesized findings into key themes, which we brought to the board for its planning retreat.
Outcome: The retreat resulted in five clear strategic priorities, each supported by concrete goals to guide the association’s work over the next three years.
Member Engagement Survey
Designed and analyzed custom surveys to uncover what members value, where engagement lags, and how organizations can better deliver on their mission.
Challenge: An endowment needed clear insights across very different stakeholder groups — from recipients to donors and leaders — without running seven separate surveys.
Solution: Developed one survey with smart logic paths that tailored the experience to each audience. Combined quantitative analysis with a qualitative review of open-text responses to surface common themes and outlier concerns.
Outcome: Clear priorities emerged, allowing leaders to use the insights to shape programming, spark new initiatives, and inform strategic planning.
Association Journey Mapping
Mapped the full member experience for a large trade association to identify moments of friction, opportunity, and missed value.
Challenge: Members were unclear on how to get the most from their membership, leading to disengagement and non-renewals.
Solution: Conducted journey mapping workshops with surveys to visualize each step of the member lifecycle. Identified pain points and aligned outcomes with ongoing EOS planning.
Outcome: Clear member personas with a comprehensive journey map and report. Insights set the stage for ongoing planning.
AI Training and Education
Demystified AI for industry leaders through tailored workshops that blended clarity, hands-on tools, and real-world use cases.
Challenge: Teams were curious about AI but didn’t know where to start. Leaders feared falling behind but were overwhelmed by the hype—and unsure how it applied to their actual workflows.
Solution: Delivered virtual and live training sessions that broke down what AI is and what it isn’t. Demonstrated tools like ChatGPT, Zapier, Claude, and Perplexity, showing how to identify tasks worth automating and the value of different solutions. Each session was customized to the team’s role and industry, with examples they could put into practice immediately.
Outcome: Attendees left with a shared understanding of AI’s potential, practical use cases tailored to their jobs, and clear next steps to get started. Executives went from “we should probably explore AI…” to “we know exactly what to try first.”
